Mission Statement:

We exist solely for the purpose of extending a helping hand to those people released from local jails and state prison systems afford them an opportunity to become productive citizens.

Who are we?

  • The ministry of Bethel Outreach was incorporated in Wyoming in 1997. It is an all volunteer agency funded by donations, the United Way and Serving USA. Bethel is a 501(c)(3) organization and all donations are tax deductible.

Program Description:

Bethel is a small non-profit, faith based organization with limited resources. We do the best we can to help subject to available funds

Bethel provides re-entry assistance to those released from incarceration including mentoring, housing, transportation, food, tools, clothing an agency referral etc.

What do we do?

  • Bethel has a mentoring program that uses volunteers to lead our clients into positive activities.
  • There is also a Pen Pal Ministry that uses volunteers to write to inmates who are in institutional care in Wyoming and elsewhere.
  • Bethel does not involve itself in the guilt or innocence of inmates, but only their spiritual and social needs.
  • While Bethel is a Christian Ministry, it does not refuse service to anyone.
